Alicante has a very typical Mediterranean climate, boasting over 320 days of sunshine a year. The hottest summer months are during July and August with temperatures averaging at around 30 degrees. May and October tend to be better months to visit and sight see thanks to the cooler temperatures in the mid 20s.
