Lisbon has a great nightlife for you to experience, including Bairro Alto district, which is full of bustling bars which don’t close until the early morning on the weekends. Most clubs are dotted along the river, with some boasting roof-top terraces!

There are a variety of eateries to dine in during your stay in Lisbon, whether it’s a gourmet restaurant or a quaint tasca (tavern). The city’s specialities are fresh seafood and egg custard tarts called Pastel de Nata – don’t miss out on an opportunity to try these!

Santo Antonio Festival

On the 12th of June the Santo Antonio festival is held. Here, Lisbon’s patron saint is commemorated through a colourful parade and many street parties!

Best Time to Go 

For a beach holiday, the highest temperatures are seen during July and August when they reach the 30s. However, this is also peak season so you’ll find there can be big crowds. The spring and autumn months are great times to visit, as temperatures are still in the 20s but there are far fewer crowds around the main attractions.
